I believe this restaurant changed their name and added to their menu. The owners may have also changed but that is unclear. It also annexed the neighboring property and is now much bigger. However, the affiliation to the original bun bo hue on Story road is unclear. It still serves a superb bun bo hue. The broth is a bit richer incorporating more shrimp paste. You now have the choice of adding more ingredients to the dish as I did with a beef rib.

One of my FAVORITE place to get authentic, delicious, affordable bun bo hue. Parking lot is a battle in terms of number of parking spaces and the actual size of the spots too, but nothing in the restaurant's control. Plenty of seating indoors and you can expect a wait on most weekends! And rightfully so. Overall, service is attentive and great. I always get a large bun bo hue and it comes with so much noodles and toppings. Also comes with a side of greens. I have not tried anything else on their menu but I would be open to trying eventually! Bon bo hue broth is very spicy, rich, deep umami flavor. Noodles are thick and bouncy. All of the meats are tender, juicy. I honestly have no complaints with the quality and quantity of food nor the service. Need to try this place or their OG shop!

As far as BBH goes, I like this restaurant. The restaurant wasn't busy when we got there and the employees were nice. What I like about this place is that they give you extra fermented fish sauce and chili if you ask. They're interesting flavors and I feel like the broth doesn't need the additional seasoning. I like pretty extreme flavors, so I added all the seasoning I could. The BBH is good. The regular variety of meats and the noodles are soft and chewy. It was good. Their dumplings were also good. I don't have much to say other than this is a solid spot. Check it out if you want some solid BBH.

Checked out this place again after a very long time and was pleasantly surprised! They now have a parklet for outdoor dining and it's kinda sweet. Lots of big plants giving you a feeling of dining in a jungle in Vietnam...Lol... In addition to Bún Bò Huế, they now serve a large variety of Vietnamese favorites and those I have sampled are very well prepared. Try the Bún Chả Cá! It's a rice noodle soup with with fish and fish paste, clear soup broth with tomatoes and pineapple. Yummy and refreshing. Vietnamese street food done right!
